Pearl Comments 1.6 extension available for Firefox and other Mozilla applications. Changes include support for inline spellchecking within Firefox 2 and improved international support.

Pearl Comments is a software system for teams that create and maintain web sites. It allows people to easily attach comments to any web page (Intranet or Internet) and to share comments with others. Everyone who uses Pearl Comments can see and respond to each other's comments. Comments are created and viewed in context (while viewing the page in a web browser), which eliminates the loss of context frequently experienced when communicating via email, IM or telephone.

Viewing, creating, and deleting of comments is accomplished using the Pearl Comments Browser Extension, which adds a sidebar to popular web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft® Internet Explorer. Comments are stored in the Pearl Comments Server, a robust and scalable server that communicates using XML and HTTP.
